What Actually Affects the Price of a Website
Website quotes in Saudi Arabia range from a few hundred Riyal to well over fifty thousand, and business owners are rarely told why. Four things genuinely move the number, and almost nothing else does.
1. How many pages need writing, not building
Adding a page to WordPress takes minutes. Deciding what that page should say, which keyword it targets, and how it links to the rest of the site takes hours. That is the real cost difference between a five-page starter site and an unlimited-page premium build.
2. Whether the site takes money
An e-commerce store is a different category of project. Products, variations, stock, shipping zones, Mada and STC Pay integration, VAT-compliant invoicing and order emails all have to work correctly, every time, because a broken checkout is lost revenue rather than a cosmetic issue. That is why the store package is 4,999 SAR and a brochure site is not.
3. Whether it runs in two languages
A bilingual Arabic and English site is close to two sites in terms of content: every page needs an Arabic version that reads naturally rather than a machine translation, plus RTL layout work and hreflang tags so Google serves the right language. It is included from the Business package upward.
4. Custom functionality
A property search with map filters, a clinic booking system tied to doctor availability, a member portal, or an integration with your accounting software are all genuinely custom work. These sit outside the packages and are quoted individually β but only after we have checked whether an existing plugin does the job for a fraction of the price.
What does not affect the price
Your city does not change the price β Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Abha all pay the same, because the work happens remotely. Neither does urgency within reason, industry, or company size. And SEO basics, mobile responsiveness, schema markup and speed optimization are never charged as upgrades; they are part of building a site properly.
Ongoing Costs You Should Budget For
Paid to providers directly, in your own name. We are happy to set them up at no extra charge.
Domain name
Roughly 40β120 SAR a year for a .com, or a .sa registered through SaudiNIC. Registered in your name so it stays yours.
Hosting
Typically 200β800 SAR a year for shared hosting suitable for a business site; more for a busy store. We will recommend a host that performs well for Saudi traffic.
SSL certificate
Free. We install Letβs Encrypt and set up automatic renewal β nobody should be charging you for a basic certificate in 2026.
Premium plugins
Only where they genuinely earn their place β a payment gateway or booking system, for example. We tell you the cost before buying anything.
Maintenance (optional)
Updates, backups, security monitoring and small content edits on a monthly plan. Optional β your package support period comes first, and you can always manage the site yourself.
Ongoing SEO (optional)
Content and link building beyond the launch setup, for businesses in competitive search markets. Quoted monthly, and only if it is worth it for you.
How Payment Works
Projects are split into two payments: 50% to begin and 50% on approval before the site goes live. Larger custom builds can be staged across three or four milestones instead, agreed in writing at the start.
We accept bank transfer to a Saudi account, and can invoice a company with VAT details where required. Every project starts with a written scope listing exactly what is included, what is not, and the delivery date β so there is nothing to argue about later.
If you want to change the scope mid-project, that is fine. We quote the change separately, you approve it, and only then does the work happen. Nothing is ever added to your invoice without you seeing it first.
What Your Money Buys, Step by Step
The same five stages on every project, whatever the package.
-
01
Discovery call
A short WhatsApp or phone conversation about your business, your customers, and what the website has to achieve. No charge and no obligation.
-
02
Proposal & fixed quote
You get a written scope, a fixed price in Saudi Riyal, and a delivery date. What is included and what is not is stated plainly before anything starts.
-
03
Design & build
We design the key pages for your approval, then build the full site. You see progress on a live staging link throughout β no waiting weeks in the dark.
-
04
SEO & testing
On-page SEO, schema markup, speed tuning, form testing, and checks across real phones and browsers in both Arabic and English before launch.
-
05
Launch & handover
We go live, submit to Google Search Console, and walk your team through editing the site. Support continues for 30 days to 6 months depending on your package.
Website Pricing β FAQs
Everything people ask us about cost, payment and what is included.
Our websites start from 499 SAR for a starter site (5 pages, basic SEO), 1,499 SAR for a full business website with a blog and advanced SEO, 2,999 SAR for a premium unlimited-page site, and 4,999 SAR for a complete WooCommerce e-commerce store with Mada and STC Pay integration. All prices are one-time and fixed before work begins.
All four package prices are one-time. Domain and hosting are billed by your provider, usually a few hundred riyal a year, and optional monthly maintenance is quoted separately. There are no recurring licence fees for the website itself.
Domain registration and hosting, paid third-party plugins or premium fonts if you specifically request them, professional photography and videography, paid ad budgets, and ongoing monthly SEO or maintenance. Anything outside your agreed scope is quoted in writing before we do it.
Mainly the number of pages, whether you need a full second language, whether you sell online, and any custom functionality such as property listings, staff-calendar booking or system integrations. Design complexity and how much copywriting we handle also play a part.
No. We work on a staged basis: a deposit to begin, and the balance on approval before launch. The exact split is written into your quote so there are no surprises on either side.
Yes. Because every site is built on the same clean WordPress foundation, moving from Starter to Business, or adding a store to an existing site, is straightforward. You pay the difference in scope rather than starting over.
Package prices are quoted excluding VAT. Where VAT applies it is shown as a separate line on your invoice, so the amount is always clear before you pay.
